The Chinese Food in America

If you ask me why I want to go back to China, my first answer might be the traditional Chinese food back home. Well, you might say that there are thousands of Chinese restaurants in America where you can cherish your dining tradition... Know what? I tell those of my American friends that the Chinese food here is NOT Chinese! They are Americanized! They still followed me asking me again and again what differences between Chinese food here and that in China. Well, my answer is that please go to China to taste Chinese food yourself!

That's why when I saw today's news report "The Chinese Restaurants in America" on the frontpage of the NPR, I realized that it's gonna be better to post it here. The menu exhibit looks nice. It makes Chinese cooking is an art, and I believe all overseas Chinese know this exactly.
